Dont forget to get your CAR STICKERS and other branded products including POSTERS, PROMOTIONAL POSTCARDS and other exciting things to help you get noticed. Make sure everybody knows you are a NWUK Instructor.

As February comes to a close we will be working on the website listings to make sure the public can clearly identify Instructors who are also qualified to provide fitness advice as previously explained. We believe it is essential to have this background knowledge in order to teach Nordic Walking effectively at the correct level for every participant and have tried to make it simple and affordable for our early Instructors to upgrade.

If you have completed the CYQ or are already fitness qualified please can you log in to your profile page and tick the little box to say you are level 2 fitness qualified. Failure to do so before the end of March could result in your listing being frozen so please take a minute to pop in and get it done asap.

Many of you who completed the old format of Instructor training prior to 2009 have now been in touch and are working through the on line ‘Exercise and Fitness knowledge module in order to gain your level 2 fitness Instructor status which is fantastic.

If you have not been in touch yet – this is what you need to do URGENTLY

1. If you did the NWUK Instructor training prior to 2009 but are already REPs level 2 fitness qualified  – log in to your profile page and click the button to clarify this – note that proof of certification could be requested at any time and that by ticking the box you are confirming these are available. .

2. If you did the NWUK Instructor training prior to 2009 and have no formal fitness qualifications or proven training in Anatomy and Physiology – call the office NOW on 0845 260 9339 to disuss your upgrade options – failure to get in touch will unfortunately result in your listing being removed from the website. Please just touch base as we do want to help you stay up date.

3. If you did the NWUK Instructor training prior to 2009 and are a physiotherapist or have a sports science degree or similar – call the office on 0845 260 9339 or send an e mail outlining the qualification to support@nordicwalking.co.uk  (Note:- Holistic therapies unfortunately do not apply)
